Ronstan - Open Danish Nationals

Vallensbęk Sail Club arranged Open Danish Nationals last weekend just south of Copenhagen.

Saturday started out with absolutely no wind, but around 13:45 the start of the first race went of and 3 races where completed in a light but steady breze.

The Nationals where held together with the 505 class and the X-79 and X-99 keelboats. Saturday night there was a joint Dinner with life music in the party tent.

Sunday morning again no wind. But it kicked in earlier and 4 good races where sailed Sunday in a steady increasing breeze ending around 15 knots.

Thomas Paasch from Denmark took the overall win (winning every single race) followed by Erik Andersson and Thomas Persson from Sweden.

Thomas Paasch took over the lead in the Nordic A-Class Cup, but Pontus Johnsson and Thomas Persson still have a good chance to regain the lead and win the Cup in the next and last regatta of the series in the end of September.
