The first race of the 2008 season
In the weekend of the 10th to the 11th og May the first race of the 2008 edition of the Nordic A-Class Cup was sailed in Kullavik/Sweden.
Light winds where the condition the sailors had to face, and this seamed to suit Thomas Persson best. He had 4 wins out of 5 races and has now taken the lead in the Cup.

Unfortunately a major race in Northern Germany at the same date kept the numbers of participants low, but this will properly change at the next race in the Cup - The German Nationals. A good score there might essentially for the final win at the end of the year.
