- Entering the Cup
Anybody with an A-Class catamaran, that is member of he's/her's National Class Association can participate in the Cup.
When participating in one of the races in the cup series, a sailor will automatically join the Cup.
- Races
The goal is to have 5 races in the Cup every year in Sweden, Northern Germany and Denmark. Preferable including the Nationals or other big events.
The object is to increase the number of participants to existing races.
- Points
Each participant of a regatta in the Cup, will score (100/n + 0,5)*(1 +n - p)
where n is the number of participants in that regatta and p is the sailors rank in that regatta. In that way regattas with many participants will
give the winner a higher score.
The Cup score will be the best 3 scores in the series.
If two sailors end up with the same score, the sailor with the highest individual score will win. If that's the same, the second best score will be deciding and so on.
If two sailors have the same series of scores, the latest score will decide who's in front.
